This afternoon we had our Scottish celebration, where our pupils performed songs, dancing and poetry. Our school choir opened the show singing 'Caledonia' followed by an 'Address to a haggis' from some of our talented P7s. We had an instrumentalist playing 'Auld Lang Syne' and performances from our poetry finalists. More of our P7s showed off their highland dancing skills and the whole school sang a number of songs, including our nursery singing 'Three Craws'. The afternoon was led by our P7 ambassadors, who did a great job of introducing each of our performances. Thanks to our four judges, who had a difficult job of deciding the winners of our quaichs and also the overall winner of the new Mrs Ross award. It was a tough job! A special thanks to Miss Waters, for organising and putting things together. Well done to everyone involved!
